The third generation of Star Plus’s Imlie continues its splendid run on our screens, and the audience is in love with the characters and the gripping story. The show has had quite a revelation with the current track and saw the power couple of Agastya and Imlie joining forces to expose Vishwa’s evil plan.
Vishwa (Abhishek Sharma) entered with the motive of exacting revenge on the Chaudharys as he and his mother hold them responsible for his father’s death and losing their family business. Vishwa trapped Imlie (Adrija Roy) into his plan and blackmailed her about revealing an accident where Agastya (Sai Ketan Rao) killed someone. While Imlie was in a difficult position of being separated from Agastya and the family, she remained headstrong to expose Vishwa’s plan.
Agastya also kept faith in Imlie and eventually discovered she was being blackmailed. The two joined hands and put on an act which led to Vishwa admitting that Agastya did not kill anyone in an accident. Imlie smartly recorded his confession and played it in front of the police in the recent episode.
It was a heart-warming moment as the Chaudhary family reunited, and they sang ‘Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum.’ While things are back to normal for the Chaudharys, Vishwa and his mother still carry bitterness, and Agastya’s mother, Meera has returned and holds the answers to all the questions about the past, including who the masked man is.
The story of Imlie’s third generation certainly has us all at the edge of our seats, and we cannot wait for it all to unfold!
Imlie airs Monday to Sunday at 8:30 p.m. in India and South Africa, 10 p.m. on Utsav Plus the UK, and streams on Hulu in the US.
