Bigg Boss 17: Has the taunts on Vicky Jain become too much?

Bigg Boss 17 has gained eyeballs from all over the world, and viewers are once again deeply involved with the happenings of the house this season. The concept of the season was that Bigg Boss would be openly biased, and three houses are symbolising Dil (Heart), Dimaag (Mind), and Dum (Courage).

 

 

In the first week, Bigg Boss clarified that his bias would benefit those who will contribute to the show, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. However, in the past few weeks, contestant Vicky Jain has not been able to even get a conversation through without being interrupted by Bigg Boss. In fact, on numerous occasions, housemates have been instigated against Vicky and at times, against Ankita Lokhande too.

The last Weekend Ka Vaar with Karan Johar seemed to have crossed the line with many viewers. Vicky Jain who has a naturally friendly and energetic nature, has tried to build bonds since the start but Weekend Ka Vaar episodes and BB seem to have turned everyone against him. Vicky has also shown genuine care for contestants such as Abhishek Kumar, but all of Vicky’s friends are told that they are his followers.

Vicky is often accused of setting narratives however, many believe that Vicky is the victim of a narrative himself – that he is a mastermind and uses others.

As viewers feel the intensity of episodes, many wonder if the constant taunts are to test Vicky’s game or if they are to shut down the immense potential he has. Only time will tell!
