Actor Rajveer Deol is making his acting debut opposite Paloma in Avnish Barjatya‘s directorial debut Dono. And as he forays into the industry we look back at some other film families who have their third and fourth generations, taking their legacy forward.
Rajveer who is the Sunny Deol‘s younger son hails from the 3rd generation of the Deol family and just like his father and grandfather – Dharmendra, Rajveer too is all set win hearts in the industry with his maiden film.
Other than Rajveer, it is also the Bachchan grandson Agastya Nanda who is entering the film industry soon. He will be see in The Archies and like grandfather Amitabh Bachchan, and uncle Abhishek Bachchan, Agastya also looks like a promising force to reckon with.
While Rajveer and Agastya are the 3rd generation flagbearers of their lineage, Avnish Barjatya represents the 4th generation from his family’s legacy. Avnish’s great grandfather Tarachand Barjatya established Rajshri in 1947, his grandfather Late Rajkumar Barjatya and father Sooraj R. Barjatya took the legacy forward. Similar to Avnish, Ranbir Kapoor also represents the 4th generation from the Kapoor clan has made a mark for himself as this generation‘s superstar! Touted as a bankable actor in Hindi cinema, Ranbir has beautifully taken the legacy of father Rishi Kapoor, grandfather Raj Kapoor and great grandfather Prithvi Raj Kapoor ahead.
As they say, third time is a charm, well, Rajveer and Agastya are all set to leave the audiences smitten with their maiden projects, and catapult into the league of stardom.
