It’s celebration time for producer Rajan Shahi and the cast and crew of his shows as they have won big at the recently held Telly Awards. The producer’s shows Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Woh Toh Hai Albelaa won multiple awards in different categories, making this a historic celebration for the entire team.
The Best actress award has been won by Rupali Ganguly for Anupamaa, while the award for Best TV Personality has been bagged by Shaheer Sheikh for Woh Toh Hai Albelaa. Harshad Chopda won the best actor award for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
The best jodi award was won by Gaurav Khanna and Rupali Ganguly for Anupamaa, and the best fans favourite Jodi was won by Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Gaurav also got the best actor editorial choice award.
The best serial title went to Anupamaa and the best production house award was won by Director’s Kut Productions.
An elated Rajan says,
“After covid people thought television shows will be wiped away. But Anupamaa came and changed the ball game. Today I want to dedicate this award to my mother Deepa Shahi (co-producer of Anupamaa) and daughter, Ishika Shahi. Regarding YRKKH I would like to mention a person who is not present here tonight, Zama Habib whose convictions and guidelines I have taken and I am very grateful to him.”
The award for Best continuity show went to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Bhavna Vyas won the award for the best screenplay for Anupamaa and Divy Aprajita bagged the award for best lyrics for Anupamaa.
The best choreographer award went to Himanshu Gadani for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and the Best story writer title was given to Namita Vartak for Anupamaa. The best music director award went to Sargam Jassu and Nakash Aziz for Anupamaa, while best stylist award was won by Nisha Bedi Rai for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
