As we all look forward to the forthcoming year, here is a sum up of Sony SAB actors’ year 2022 and what they are looking forward to in 2023!
Kaveri Priyam from Sony SAB’s Dil Diyaan Gallan
“Year 2022 has been an amazing year for me on the work front. I got a chance to work in two great shows of Sony SAB, ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’ and the recently released ‘Dil Diyaan Gallaan’. I really enjoyed shooting for ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’ as it was a new and different concept for me. And now Dil Diyaan Gallaan is yet another unique experience. I hope through our show we motivate viewers to celebrate their new year with their families. So, for me, the end of the year 2022 calls for a celebration which I am looking forward to with my loved ones. I am planning to travel with my family somewhere on New Year’s. I don’t believe in a new year resolution, but I truly believe in staying healthy, fit, and happy. I also wish to entertain people more with my work and meet new people and make new friends in the process. I wish to take up more projects in the forthcoming year. I even have a bucket list that is waiting to be accomplished. In 2022, I had thought of starting my own YouTube channel, but it got pushed to the back burner. In 2023, I will surely give a try to tick this off my list. Overall, 2022 has been kind to me. I wish one and all a Happy New year”
Karuna Pandey from Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible
“2022 was tremendous in terms of both my work life and personal life. I would say that I have been blessed with the best parents and family. As for my work, an amazing opportunity came my way with Pushpa Impossible on Sony SAB, a character that has truly grown on me with time. The show has been a chance for me to expand my horizons and grow more as an artist. I am glad that I could inspire women through Pushpa to look at life with a positive perspective. 2023 is almost here and I look forward to ushering in the new year with an open heart and positive mind. I am a believer of ‘karma’ and believe that what you give comes back to you. So, I want to give more to the people and do my bit for the good of society. I wish to excel in my work and become an ace actor. I want to learn new languages and be open to learning from the experiences of people around me, something that will also help me as an actor. And like I always say- learning should never stop. For me, 2023 will be an opportunity to evolve as a person and an actor”
Naveen Pandit from Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible
“2022 opened doors for me professionally. As an artist, getting to work in a show like ‘Pushpa Impossible’ has been a blessing. It has been overwhelming to receive so much love and adulation from the audience. As a team, we strive hard to make sure our viewers enjoy watching our work. On the personal front, I became a father this year and was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. I am excited about starting this new chapter of my life. Honing my craft further will be a priority in the new year. I can’t wait to see what 2023 holds for me”
Gulki Joshi aka S.H.O Haseena Malik from Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir
New Year’s resolutions have never been my thing. Having said that, I have always believed in one mantra, i.e., to be my best self and lead a healthy and positive life. This time, I’m stepping into a new year with a new beginning, and I am looking forward to what 2023 will unfold for me. The last couple of years have been quite challenging for each one of us, and we can only be grateful to have continued to work, had a family around us, and battled through the hard times. I would take this opportunity to thank my fans and definitely my character Haseena in Maddam Sir, that always kept me going, and the amount of appreciation that I have received over the years makes my heart full! Haseena’s confidence always keeps me also pumped up in life for doing new things. So, this one goes out to all my fans – I wish you and your family a very happy new year, stay happy, stay blessed!
Pariva Pranati aka Vandana Wagle from Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey
“I think 2022 has really been a special year for the team of ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ as all of us achieved a couple of unforgettable milestones this year with the show. I believe the amount of love and appreciation that the audience has showered on us throughout the year is beyond words. Vandana remains very close to my heart since, through her, I have had a chance to talk about certain topics and taboos that I wouldn’t have otherwise to the viewers at large. During the last few weeks of the year, we’re usually focused on what’s to come – all the new habits we’re going to create and the goals we’re going to achieve. I am excited for the new year and the new opportunities it will open for me. I always see the future with a positive vibe and believe it will only bring me good. I have realized there is never a good time to do important things, I will certainly take my time off to spend some quality time with my family.”
