Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are getting married in second week of April

The wedding that everyone’s been eagerly waiting for may happen a lot sooner than anticipated.

 

As per the latest reports Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor could get married in the second week of April.

 

A source close to the Kapoor and Bhatt families revealed,

 

“Alia’s maternal grandfather N Razdan is in fragile physical condition. He expressed his desire to see Alia get married to Ranbir. Mr Razdan has also grown quite fond of Ranbir and loves him a lot.”

 

The source also revealed that a final date has not been zeroed in on. But as things stand right now, both Ranbir and Alia are planning for an April 17 wedding.

 

But this date could also be shifted by a day or two, depending on the health of Alia’s grandfather N Razdan.

 

Lots of recent reports have suggested that Shaadi Squad and mehendi expert Veena Nagda. They are reportedly to be hired for Alia and Ranbir’s wedding have revealed that they’ve not been approached by the actors for an April function.

 

But the source explained to ETimes that the marriage function will be a small and private family affair between the families.

 

The wedding will be either a single day or at max. A two day affair featuring close family members only.

 

 

For now, both Ranbir and Alia are working out the logistics of the RK Studio site in Chembur, where the function will take place. There have been no confirmations because the couple is checking with close family members. For their availability and trying to align a day where all of the close relatives can come together.

 

 

Finally the source said,

 

“This function does not need to be an extravagant affair because for both families, Ranbir and Alia. They have been as good as married already. This is a small get-together and celebration to fulfill the wish of Alia’s grandfather.”
