Drishyam ‘Play’ has been on a roll, giving stage to up and coming rising stars in the music world. After the success of songs like Fakeeri and Rangrejiyaa, their freshly dropped song, Khat.
The song will take you back to the time when you first fell in love with your childhood sweetheart. Composed and sung by Durgesh R Rajbhatt, singer Deepali Sathe has also joined him on the vocals.
The lyrics, penned by Saaveri Verma, leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling and the screenplay. And storyline of the song’s video only further enhance it.
With Subhransu Kumar Das as the director and DOP, Vanniki Tyagi is the creative and executive producer of the song. The song’s video features Bhavna Choudhary, Chinmaya Madan, Dhriti Sharma & Shivansh Thakur.
The visuals of the video transport you to the cosy picturesque mountain ranges tucked away from the humdrum of daily life. The children in the video steal your heart with their innocent feelings of puppy love and a strong onscreen bond of friendship as they exchange letters across the country to stay in touch with their favourite friend.
Speaking about the song, producer Manish Mundra said,

Saaveri’s lyrics of the song take you down the memory lane and remind you of what it felt like falling in love for the very first time.
