Akasa Singh’s Mother Reacts to the Slut-shaming Comments by Afsana
The Bigg Boss house is just heating up. The task that concluded yesterday was nothing short of war. There was a huge war between the “junglewasis” and “gharwasis” and hell broke loose.
Afsana Khan pulls up Akasa Singh and that causes her buttons to rip off. Akasa quickly goes inside to get a jacket to cover up. However, Afsana shows no remorse for her action. Furthermore, she does not help out either.
What Happened Next?
It does not end there, she continues to target Akasa and goes on to say very depreciating things. Even more shocking is that a woman said it to a woman. We strongly condemn it and Afsana can not fall to this level.
Evidently, Akasa was aware that Afsana had pulled out the top unintentionally. However, what upset her was her saying that her buttons are always open and that her bra was showing earlier too.
It’s is absolutely shameful and very regressive. Huge sections of the media are calling it out and this has to stop.
Akasa’s Mother Speaks
We reached out to Amreetaji, Akasa Singh’s mother, and here is what she has to say,
“I had watched this incident on the live feed. I feel that it was triggered as a result of the earlier task wherein Akasa and other members of Team Tiger won and were given access to the main house. During the map task on Thursday afternoon, Akasa’s T-shirt was torn. She quickly ran inside and came back and muttered things to Afsana like what have you done. Afsana rather than being apologetic further passed a comment saying that she is always showing her body. This made Akasa very angry and went into the bathroom. She was very hurt as she had a bond with Afsana from the start and never expected such behavior.”
Akasa’s Mother: “She was calm”
Additionally, Amreetaji feels Akasa is playing from the heart:
“Akasa is aware of the latter’s medical conditions and taking care of her and making sure she takes medicines on time and they have been getting along well with her, so this incident shook Akasa. After she was calm, she came back and confronted Afsana. She stood her ground and the whole house came to her defense. Tejasswi and Shamita stood up like a rock for Akasa and even kept checking in on her.”
Akasa’s Mother: “I am glad people are liking her on the show”
She is exceedingly proud of her daughter.
“As a mother, it broke my heart to see her cry as much but I am also proud that she stood up for herself and voiced her opinions. She has never watched Bigg Boss, so she still trying to pick the nuances of the game. Akasa is playing it from the heart. She does not know to mask her opinions and that only got her nominated this week. Despite this, she has continued to be herself. I am glad people are liking her on the show and getting to know the real Akasa.”

Even her brother, Aasa Singh took to Twitter to share a couple of tweets on this matter. He tweets:
“Disgusted to see some people coming in support for Afsana and missing the whole point! It was clear, #Akasa didn’t care if Afsana pulled off her shirt open UNINTENTIONALLY! It’s The way she handled the MISHAP afterward! 0 remorse on Her face, unapologetic, shameless #BiggBoss15. He further adds, “Afsana is covering up her mistake by paying cheap comments and slut-shaming #Akasa on national TV. It is these statements that had hurt Akasa and the fact that she has 0 remorse.”
