Seattle-via-LA multi-threat Hollis Wong-Wear is a singer-songwriter, producer, social activist, keynote speaker, and burgeoning talent.
The modern-day renaissance woman, who worked on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ GRAMMY nominated debut album The Heist as a co-writer/featured vocalist on the standout track “White Walls” (2x Platinum in US), is also a Pigeons & Planes Best New Artist, who praised her music as “a clean R&B-meets-pop meditation.”
Hollis Wong-Wear will announce her debut solo album on July 16th. Recently, she released “Grace Lee,” an introspective track inspired by Grace Lee Boggs. Grace is the second generation Chinese-American author, social activist, philosopher, and community organizer.
