Rap Jatta is my official come back the project. I took some time off to work on mastering my craft and I was working on growing my record label: Black Diamond Music Records. This song is about my lifestyle and my day-to-day grind. I am still on this journey of self-improvement to become more successful in my passion for the music business.
Even though I had other songs I could have released as my come back, I wanted to start my journey by paying a heartfelt Tribute to The Game and Grammy Award-winning Rapper and entrepreneur, Nipsey Hussle (RIP). They both inspired me with their rap and style of music, it helped me to be strong and fight during a period of struggle in my life.
The inspiration for “Rap Jatta” came from The Game’s final Studio Album, “Born 2 Rap”(2019). The purpose of the song is to motivate and inspire young minds who want to be successful in music or any other profession in life. It’s a message to them to never quit on your dream, graft, and achieve your passion so that you are content with life.
