Toronto Singer Des-C ‘Girlfriend’ Out 7th May 2020. It may not quite be the reply to Mabel’s or Selena Gomez’s – Boyfriend but it’s definitely inspired Des-C to give us his spin on the ‘Girlfriend’ topic matter…

After the successful release of Des-C’s song ‘Sayoni’ which was released earlier this year, it
organically generated 1 Million TikTok plus stories which is still continuing to do so…

It seems Des-C has finally found the missing key to his musical Pandora’s Box. His musical the journey has been a difficult one but he’s staying consistent like never before, lockdown or
no lockdown!

The Song – ‘Girlfriend’ is a complete 360 degrees from his previous releases and is definitely
a playlist must! The moment you press plays it makes you want to drop everything and dance! Usually, we are used to hearing a more traditional folky set of vocals from Des-C, but on Girlfriend, he flows magnificently with a catchy hook over an equally impressive beat. The Beat/Lyrics – have been produced by Jogi Taggar an up and coming talent from across the shores of Canada (Toronto). Des-C first pitched the idea after hearing Mabel’s song Boyfriend over the radio, the rest is history.

Girlfriend is Des-C first international collaboration he promises us there is more to come in
the next few months. The song Girlfriend showcases the hidden talents of Jogi who recently
collaborated with Dj Harps. The Video – shot earlier this year reminds the viewer/listener of the still impressive talents of Des-C which he showcases effortlessly with class. It reveals his hidden ability to dance/choreograph & Co-direct a project. The video also features the beautiful and stunning model Delilah Malik.

OUTSIDE OF MUSIC – Des-C is a modest hardworking key worker in real life. He continues
to do 12-hour shifts a day to keep the nation going. He is determined to motivate us through
his music and to remind us… normality is on its way. Here at Hats Off Uk, we are extremely
