It is a matter of great pride for the global Sikh community to see the world’s first female Rabab player recognized with such a prestigious honor. The Sikh Rabab is a musical instrument created by the First Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak, used to develop the art of inner communication and peace by balancing human emotions. This instrument amongst other Sikh instruments was on the verge of extinction until the establishment of the non-profit, Raj Academy Conservatoire, the world’s leading school of Sikh Music education dedicated to the revival and preservation of Sikh Music Therapy.
