PewDiePie and His Petty Racist Rant of a Congratulations
PewDiePie and his petty congratulations to T-Series! Swedish Youtuber Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, known as PewDiePie (92 million subscribers), known for his amazing content on youtube. He has certainly changed the platform over the years. Hence, being one of the biggest youtubers if not number one on the platform! But recently, he had some mad competition on Youtube against T-Series (92 million). T-Series is a youtube channel and music company focusing on Bollywood music content!
It was a heavy competition! Both channels were going head to head. People were live streaming the subscriber count and being the most loyal fans ever! They are both set at 92 million right now and with the continuous sharing and live streaming, people made sure that subscribers were making waves! The numbers kept increasing and I swear, I never imagined it getting this far!
Above all, T-series was previously in the lead and leave it to PewDiePie to congratulate T-Series in the most original PewDiePie fashion. A rap song, or should we call it “distasteful rant”. He decided to be the most petty person on the internet in less than 24 hours by spitting some bars! His bars turned into a racist rant and generalization of Indians.
Initially, I had no reason to watch the video. I really did not care but people decided that I needed to see the man behind the channel. It was disgusting to see someone imitate and become so bitter. Why generalize against an entire population ? We understand satire but this is discriminatory and racist. Just ranting that it’s a joke, does not make it less offensive. “Poo Poo on the brain”
This ongoing rant left many speechless and utterly disgusted by his behaviour. It was uncalled for. The Game has only begun, lets hope T-Series and that PewDiePie finds some peace even though it is entertaining to watch! He is a legendary Youtuber and we adore his content, let’s hope it becomes more civil and less tactful. We do agree that we prefer a person as number one instead of a corporation. PewDiePie has worked extremely hard for his position, he deserves it with some class instead of what he has put out.
