South Asian Fashion Week Day One Wraps Up With Falguni Shane Peacock
March 1, 2019: Held at Plaza Of Nation in Vancouver, the South Asian Fashion Week kicks off with the show host and celebrity model Manu Sandhu. The evening featured luxury brand Falguni Shane Peacock was a stunning show stopper for the night.

Falguni and Shane Peacock have proclaimed luxury couture designers, who are renowned for creating eccentric contrasts on the ramp. The husband-wife duo is accredited for taking Indian fashion to Hollywood circuits, with their glamorous and spectacular designs. They are famous for creating fantasy themed dreamy and dramatic designs that make a rock star like the statement. Their ardent attention on detailing and agenda of instilling spectacular contrast highlights them in the fashion industry.
Falguni and Shane Peacock bridal collections exemplify fairy tales with ounces of dreamy colors and aesthetic embroidery, all indulged in a modern appeal. Resort Wear Collection 2013 by Falguni and Shane Peacock was attributed by colorfully printed bathing suits, kaftans, and embellishments on sheer resort dresses. Paris Hilton was the showstopper for Falguni and Shane Peacock at Indian Resort Fashion Week 2013. They are quintessential designers to create high octane glamorous and edgy designs for glitzy events like concerts and red carpet. Their star-studded clientele includes Fergie, Nicki Minaz, Katy Perry, Kesha, Megan Good, Nicole Scherzinger, Naomi Harris, Cheryl Cole, Katie Melua, Hofit Golan, Jennifer Lopez, and Lady Gaga.
The celebrity guest of the night was Sonia Sunger, a morning news anchor from Global BC. Sonia was dressed in a silver and black dress designed by City Lux and was accompanied by her husband Chris Koch. Some of the most prominent personalities were present for the event including the CEO of Verka Foods Mona Matta with her Husband Gagan Matta. SAFW brought together some of the best South Asian designers in the industry. SAFW marked its second year ushering Canada’s fashion and expanding the event on a larger scale.
The event featured Sim & Sara, Singh Style, Lux Collection, Wellgroomed, House of Raina, Mehnaz Fine Jewels, Singh Styles, Allure By Aamneet and Armaan DBG.

The fashions extravaganza that saw the best of creativity coming alive on the ramp with amazing textile and texture. The label creates stunning prêt, exquisite bridal collections with a silk fabric and intricate embroideries, sequin works, sheer fabrics with bold prints.

City Lux
Fashion designers design clothes with styles that make distinctive use of colors, contemporary drapes and cuts, quality of fabrics and a gloriously, rich modern aesthetic. Some design expensive one-off pieces. The designer produces work of art creating a whole range of fashion line specialized in particular areas of modern fashion.
The designer’s men’s collections include a range of stylish Sherwanis, Jackets, Wait Coats, Pathani Suits and Kurta’s. The styles are in elegant colors and feature embroidered details of the kind that is perfect for traditional or contemporary occasions alike.
