Sridevi: We still can’t believe this that this beautiful soul left us? A legendary Sridevi passed away in a tragic accident in Dubai during a wedding. The cause for the death was due to drowning. She was a queen of many hearts and was still modeling for Manish Malhotra clothing line. Sridevi made her debut in many films and her best performance in Maa and English Vinglish was epic. Even though it’s still hard to believe she is no longer with us. Rest In Peace Sridevi.

Rita Bhaduri: She died in Mumbai at the age of 62 while being treated at Mumbai’s Sujay Hospital in Vile Parle for a kidney ailment. She initially appeared as supporting actress in various Bollywood films during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. She was most known for films like Sawan Ko Aane Do a 1979 Rajshri Productions film and Raja (1995) for which she received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

3: Sujata Kumar: She died on 19 August 2018 due to Metastatic Cancer. She was one of the talented actors who worked with legendary actresses like Sridevi. She will always be remembered for her role in English Vinglish in which she was the sister of Sridevi. She always adapted herself to the role whatever she got and established herself as a good supporting actress in the film industry.

4: Shammi aka Nargis Rabadi: She died in her sleep on 6 March 2018, from natural causes at the age of 88. Rabadi was born in 1929 in Bombay, India. Her father was a priest in an agyari (Parsi fire temple) and died when she was around three years old. After her father’s death, her mother used to cook food at all the religious functions organized by the Parsi community to earn money. Rabadi had an elder sister Mani Rabadi, who was a fashion designer and worked extensively with many actresses as their dress designer in Hindi films between 1967 and 1994.

5: Ava Mukherjee Ava Mukherjee died in Mumbai, India, on 15 January 2018, at the age of 88. Ava Mukherjee was an Indian film and television actress. Her best-known roles included Devdas (2002), where she played Shah Rukh Khan’s grandmother, and her lead role as the title character in 2009’s Detective Naani.
