Canadian “Jatti” Snow Bride is going Viral on the Internet

It all started when Jassu Kingra’s friend Daljit moved to Brampton, Ontario from India last April. She was surprised by seeing a great quantity of snow in Canada for the first time. Therefore, she called her friend to ask, “Jassu, how do you build a snowman?” That’s when Jassu, and her sisters Navi and Bini got together to build a three-tiered structure of a snowperson. Jassu and the girls were inspired to “do something different” with their creation. “We always see regular snowmen…we wanted to add a traditional touch to it.” Therefore, her sister Navi suggested the beautiful jewelry, scarf, and false eyelashes. Jassu already runs a jewelry business, LishkaratrendsZ, so she had plenty to use! The girls also have a beauty canvas, where they post desi makeup looks.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

Inspired by the movie Jatt & Juliet, the girls named her “Saddi Juliet” meaning “Our Juliet.” Jassu was glad to “show [Daljit’s] family back home that she has friends here and that Brampton is a really nice place to be.” Furthermore, when one of her friends, Isha Singh, posted it on Twitter their snow bride creation went viral. Surprisingly, this snow woman is also known as “Farah the snow Jatti”, “Frostinder”, and “Frosty the snow Aunty.”
