Why these dashing actors of TV are asking people not to buy National Flag on Independence Day?

15th August is around the corner and Indians have already started riding on the waves of patriotism. While every corner, crossroad, shop, car and office are going to sport the ‘Tricolor’, why are these dashing TV actors requesting people not to buy flags on this Independance Day?

Currently seen as an underdog in ‘Vani Rani‘, Rahulram Manchanda quipped,

“I would like to request people to avoid buying the tricolor. Because after 15th August or 26th January, most of the flags are unceremoniously dumped in the dustbin, road or even in the gutter.”

Jodha Akbar‘ fame Ravi Bhatia has earlier raised the voice against the mistreatment of an Indian flags said,

“We enthusiastically buy flags made up of paper and plastic in just 5-10 Rupees, and on the very next day we find them on the roadsides stepping and stamping. Why you want to buy the National flag? Just to show your patriotism? Is this a right and only way to prove that you love your country?”

“When are we going to understand that our national flag is not just a piece of colored paper, it’s a symbol of national respect and pride. If you cannot treat it well, please don’t buy it,”

said the charming actor Jitendra Nokewal, who plays flamboyant Adi in &TV’s ‘Vani Rani‘.

“We should treat our National flag with utmost care and respect. If we don’t do it, who will?,”

questions Akash Gill, who is currently seen as an effeminate in ‘Rishton Ka Chakravyuh’.
