Tag lined “say hi to high...”, Midnight Delight a unique comedy feature helmed by director Rohit Gupta has been dominating film festivals around the United States. For those of you wanting to see it, you’ll be excited that ahead of its upcoming screenings line-up, the film is set to release July 21, 2016 on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Sony, Hoopla, Vimeo, Xbox, among others.
The next couple months, Midnight Delight will continue it’s screenings at festivals. The film has been announced as an Official Selection in-competition in the “Fantasy feature” category of the Fantasmagorical Film Festival 2016 to take place July 29-31 in Louisville, KY. The fest is a part of the famous Fandom Fest – the largest Comic Con in the region, reaching thousands of attendees serving the Anime, Comic Book, Pop Culture, Movie, Sci-Fi, Horror, Literary, Arts crowd, bringing the best of popular culture to the region. Fantasmagorical Film Fest is that special film event that caters to the Wild and Weird as well as the Cult and Pop Cultured films. Midnight Delight will be screened on July 30th 1:30 pm local time followed by an awards ceremony on July 31, 2016.
The 85-minute film Midnight Delight, produced by Gupta and Saumin Mehta under the production company Dot and Feather Entertainment is composed of 9 vignettes of characters at a smoking lounge where characters get in to hilarious antics with people they have never met before. It features award-winning actors Shaheed Woods (Life! Camera Action…, ) and debutante Michael Laguerre, actress Alexandra Hellquist (Sole Proprietor, The Fever and Fret), John Crann (The Perfect Murder, Life! Camera Action… ), Michele Suttile (See you next Tuesday) among others.
The 2016 Fandom Fest guests lists in attendance boasts of celebrated personalities including the legendary Stan Lee, filmmaker Kevin Smith who will be hosting a special screening of his latest film Yoga Hosers followed by QnA, Backstreet Boys and N’sync vocalists Nick Carter, AJ McClean, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick performing live for their thousands of fans, actor Anthony Michael Hall (National Lampoon’s Vacation), and Alexandra Breckenridge (Walking Dead) among several other personalities.
As Midnight Delight continues its successful international festival run winning accolades and applause, it has been also announced as an Official Selection in-competition in the “feature drama-comedy” category at the upcoming Indie Film Gathering International Film Festival 2016 celebrating its 21st anniversary to take place Aug 11-14 in Cleveland, Ohio. It will be screened on August 12th at 10:45 pm local time followed by a gala awards ceremony on Sunday August 14th.
