Amitabh Bachchan’s special scooter in TE3N!

Observers have been duly impressed by images and clips of megastar Amitabh Bachchan riding around the streets of Kolkata on an antique blue scooter in forthcoming suspense thriller TE3N, but what many don’t know how is special the scooter is, not only in the film but to the owner himself.

Sujit Narayan Sur, who provided the scooter for the shoot, has been inundated with offers to buy the scooter ‘driven by Amitabh Bachchan’. But he has no intention of selling it – even for an offer of Rs 1 crore that was made to him.

Sujit, who modified and customised the scooter specifically for Mr. Bachchan for the film, said,

“This second-hand scooter is about 20 years old. I bought it 13 years back and still use it. The unit came with a sketch of what they needed and my scooter’s colour matched their requirements. I was thrilled. I will not be able to lend out the scooter ever again. I want to keep it at my Tollygunge home with a life-size photo of Amitabh Bachchan. And also, the scooter that he rides is not less than a crore in worth. So, there’s no question of selling it.”
