The launch of the official Frooti Box Cricket League game saw a burst of fun and excitement as the league teams had a virtual face-off before the beginning of the Frooti Box Cricket League season. Anita Hassanandani and Sikandar Kharbanda were seen at their gaming best as they battled it out, virtually, for the top spot at the launch event. Anita Hassanandani, Additi Gupta, Soni Singh, Himanshoo Malhotra, Vahbbiz Dorabjee, Meghna Naidu, Digangana Suryavanshi, Nandish Sandhu, Paaras Madaan, Rajiv Thakur, Jasvir Kaur, Aslam Khan, Alok Narula, Sudeepa Singh and Sikandar Kharbanda among many others celebrated the launch of the official Box Cricket League game created by Hungama.
Coming on board as the official digital and gaming partner of season 2 of the Frooti Box Cricket league, Hungama has tied-up with Balaji Telefilms and Marinating Films to launch the official Box Cricket League game. As the second season is just around the corner, fans of the league have the chance to get a first-hand taste of the Box Cricket mania with the launch of its official game.
Virtually stepping in the shoes of their favorite celebrities, the official game allows fans to play challenges in their favorite team and celebrity’s avatar. Fans can choose to play the game as Rannvijay Singh from Chandigarh Cubs, Sara Khan from Rowdy Bangalore, Shakti Arora from Kolkata Baabu Moshayes, Divyanka Tripathi from Pune Anmol Ratan, Karan Wahi from Delhi Dragons or Kamya Punjabi from Jaipur Raj Joshiley, Nandish Sandhu from Ahmedabad Express, Ritvik Dhanjani from Chennai Swaggers, Rashmi Desai from Lucknow Nawabs and Mouni Roy from Mumbai Tigers among many others. The game is available on both, Android and iOS (launching soon) platforms in two modes – Endless Mode and Challenges Mode. The game is also available to Tata Sky DTH subscribers in Tournament mode and Airtel DTH subscribers in Tournament and Challenge modes.
The official Box Cricket League game, powered by Hungama, India’s first and largest on-demand digital entertainment destination, is a fast paced cricket game where you can take up challenges as a batsman, eventually powering the team to victory. It is a side-view game which begins with the batsman ready in his stance. The number of runs scored will depend on the timing of the shot played. In the process, players will also win coins as they win more matches, which can then be used to buy power-ups. Box Cricket League mania will hit fans virtually as they can keep score over their leaderboards.
The launch of the official Box Cricket League game was held at Link Room Banquets, the official Venue Partners, in Bandra West.
