After the Internationally acclaimed India’s most successful Crowd Funded movie – Lucia, comes another Mystery thriller titled U-Turn. Director Pawan Kumar brought the world’s attention to Kannada cinema in 2013 with his film Lucia. He has now produced, written, and directed this new flick. The film is a project by Pawan Kumar Studios Pvt Ltd.
U-Turn is a mystery thriller in the Kannada language. It will be releasing in a few months worldwide with English Subtitles. Pawan is known for his screenplays filled with twists and brain teasers, this movie is creating enough anticipation amongst his followers. The film is set in Bangalore and the cast includes Shraddha Srinath in the lead role. A former lawyer turned actress who aced at the auditions and grabbed this film, a perfect film to debut with. It also stars a popular Hollywood actor – Roger Narayan. Who has been part of many Hollywood flicks as well as sitcom. Radhika Chetan, plays a very important role in the film, she is the new star in the Kannada film Industry.
U Turn trailer is out on Youtube from 28 Jan 2016, and it broke all records of all Kannada films by crossing 65000 views in just 24 hours. This is the highest number of views any Kannada film has garnered on Youtube in such a short span of time.
Currently in the postproduction stages ‘U-Turn’ is fast gearing up for its release.
