Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are Married!

Actor Rajkummar Rao and actress Patralekhaa are the latest Bollywood couple to tie the knot and get married. The couple met on the sets of the 2014 film, “Citylights” and dated for nearly a decade.
The Love Story
This Bollywood love story started on set when the pair felt a mutual magical connection.
Here’s what she said:
“I saw him for the first time on screen when I watched LSD. I thought that the weird guy he played in the film, was actually what he was like. My perception of him was already tarnished. He told me later, that he had first seen me in an ad and thought, ‘I’m going to marry her.’ It was so ironic!”
“And once we started working together– it was magic. The kind of passion he had was powerful – he’d bring everyone along with him like a tornado. He made sure that not only him, but everyone did their best, and I couldn’t respect him any more than I did then!”.
Evidently, this was his recollection:
“I still remember seeing you in an advertisement and wondering, ‘I wish I could meet this girl one day.’ And as destiny or the universe would have it, much to my desire, I met you a month later. It has been so many years of togetherness, and yet, it feels like we’ve just met. You are the prettiest and the strongest girl I’ve met. Let’s create many more wonderful memories together.”
The Wedding Pictures
Lovebirds Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa shared pictures from their private ceremony held in Chandigarh, Patralekhaa wrote, “I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate…My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever.”
Sharing more candid pictures from the D-Day, Rajkummar Rao added, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship, and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever and beyond.”
The wedding festivities kickstarted after the couple got engaged on November 13 in an all-white-themed ceremony. While the groom-to-be, Rajkummar looked dapper in a classic white kurta-churidar set which he finished off with a white jacket and classic white sneakers, Patralekhaa opted for an ivory and silver off-shoulder gown with a little train. She accessorized the look with a snake-shaped diamond necklace. After this, they reportedly held a mehndi and sangeet ceremony on November 14.
