17 years back, IIFA began as an International platform for Bollywood movies to be awarded. Today, post 17 years, it has transformed itself to suit the ever-changing Bollywood needs.
But will IIFA also adapt Hollywood movie awards? Head honcho Andre Timmins replies, “For the next 3 years, we are looking at bringing IIFA to America. We want to bring Hollywood movies on the awards.”
Not only that, he has bigger plans. Andre continues, “Along with that, also Television series from Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, Apple, Voot. Gradually we want to include these and make it more international.”
