Priyanka Chopra, Omung Kumar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Darshan Kummar are touring Delhi and surrounding areas on Sept 2nd and Sept 3rd to promote the first female centric biopic ‘Mary Kom’.
On Sept 2nd producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Priyanka Chopra and Darshan Kummar will be meeting film fans at the Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden, Delhi. Priyanka is on a mission to promote boxing to willing young girls. So watch out guys 🙂 You might get a surprising right hook if you act out of line.
On September 3rd, director Omung Kumar will join Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Priyanka Chopra and Darshan Kummar and visit Noida International University. A special screening of the film will be held for underprivileged children from the Akhil Bharatiya Arise Foundation at the Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi’s Asiad Village Complex. Afterwards the cast will spend time with the children before heading back to Mumbai.

‘Mary Kom’, the film is about the Indian Boxer and Olympic Bronze medallist MC Mary Kom. Depicting her life, struggles, family and her perseverance to be the best – Priyanka Chopra stars as Mary Kom along with Darshan Kumaar, Sunil Thapa, Shishir Sharma and American actor Zachary Coffin. Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Mary Kom’ is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures & Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is scheduled for release on September 5, 2014.
