A success party was held last night to celebrate Nagesh Kukunoor’s film ‘Lakshmi’ winning the Mercedes-Benz Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Palm Springs International Film Festival & ShortFest last month.
The film has also been shortlisted for four more film festivals, namely the Toronto Reel Film Festival, DC Film Festival, New York Indian Film Festival and the Melbourne International Film Festival leading to more reasons to celebrate.
The entire cast of Lakshmi was present at the event along with producers Elahe Hiptoola and Jayantilal Gada. Other attendees were Divya Dutta, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Poonam Dhillon, Rannvijay Singha and Rajiv Laxman. Ayesha Takia also attended with her husband Farhan Azmi.
