Nikkita Ghag, an actress known for her roles in web series including ‘Bekaaboo 3,’ ‘Fuh Se Fantasy’ on Jio Cinema, and Disney Hotstar’s ‘Anandi,’ is a talented individual. Alongside her acting career, she has also showcased her abilities as a producer. Being of Maharashtrian descent, Nikkita shares her Gudi Padwa celebration traditions and its significance.
Nikkita reveals with enthusiasm when asked about her Gudi Padwa celebrations, she says,
“This year, I have crafted a beautiful Gudi at home to mark the occasion. The day will be adorned with decorations and an array of delectable sugar-free sweets.”
When questioned about the significance of Gudi Padwa in her life, she replies,
“This festival is significant to me because it symbolizes renewal, victory, and prosperity. Being a religious person, I celebrate this festival with grandeur.”
Regarding the rituals involved, she explains,
“The day starts with an oil bath before sunrise, followed by offering Naivedya to God. Later, according to the auspicious timing (tithi), the Gudi is hoisted followed by a Pooja. I always choose to perform Havan at home to bring more positive vibes.”
Asked if anyone has gifted her anything on Gudi Padwa, she responds,
“I always gift assets to myself on every Padwa because it’s an auspicious day to attract more prosperity. I believe in buying assets that appreciate in value. This year, I am booking one more property on Padwa.”
When questioned about her actions if she is away from home during the festival, she states,
“Typically, I don’t stay away from home during festivals because I believe in celebrating them with my family and my dogs, who I consider to be my babies. I usually prefer not to be away from home.”
Finally, when asked about her wish for Gudi Padwa, she shares,
“With this Padwa, I would wish for all animals to be kept safe, away from cruelty. And, of course, I wish for good fortune and blessings for my friends and family.”
