Moon Tae-yoo Shines as a Realistic & Charming Character in JTBC’s Good Man

Actor Moon Tae-yoo is leaving a strong impression in JTBC’s Friday drama series Good Man, bringing to life a character that feels both relatable and endearing.

In the drama, Moon Tae-yoo takes on the role of Jang Ki-hong, an orthopedic surgeon who is a longtime friend of Park Seok-cheol (Lee Dong-wook) and is secretly dating Seok-cheol’s younger sister, Park Seok-hee (Ryu Hye-young). Determined Yet Warm — The Perfect “Strong on the Outside, Soft on the Inside”

Jang Ki-hong is not afraid to stand his ground against troublemakers in the hospital, showcasing his firm convictions. At the same time, he treats patients with warmth and kindness, offering comforting words alongside his medical expertise. Moon Tae-yoo delivers this duality with subtle emotional control and expressive eyes, adding depth to the role and pulling viewers deeper into the story.

From Bromance to Romance — A True “Chemistry Fairy”

Whether it’s the playful banter with Seok-cheol, a friend who knows him inside out, or the heartfelt romance with Seok-hee, Moon Tae-yoo’s chemistry on screen is undeniable. He transitions effortlessly from the comedic back-and-forth of a bromance to the tenderness of a long-term relationship, portraying the ultimate “Seok-hee Baragi” (man hopelessly devoted to Seok-hee). This versatility is winning over audiences across all age groups.

Moon Tae-yoo’s natural charm and grounded acting not only heighten the drama’s emotional pull but also make his character incredibly believable. Viewers have even commented that “he feels like someone who could actually exist in real life.” As Good Man progresses, Moon Tae-yoo is proving himself to be an all-round scene-stealer, and anticipation is high for his future projects.

📺 Good Man airs every Friday on JTBC. Episodes 7 and 8 will be broadcast back-to-back tonight at 8:50 PM KST.
