Jessica Teen From Charles Best School Walks For Rasleela Bridal Fashion Week
As she walked on the ramp for the very first time holding a heavy veil with both hands, you wonder. How is this girl walking in a heavy outfit in those high heels on this ramp in front of the crowd? What is surprising? Well, she is just in grade 11 and is 17 years old from Charles Best school in Coquitlam.
Jessica has a true passion for modeling. She is this beautiful tall gorgeous girl who walked for a Raasleela fashion show. We had many questions when we first encountered this young lady. So we decided to interview her and ask more about her passion for modeling.
Meet Jessica Madelyn Brodt…..
Tell us a little bit about yourself…
My name is Jessica Madelyn Brodt, I’m 17 years old in grade 11 and I’ve actually only been modeling for a few months now.
What prompted the passion for modeling?
My passion to get into modeling stemmed from one of my close friends Taya Bonkowski, she would tell me stories of photo shoots or shows she’d done, I had always had an interest in photography & the power a picture can hold and I suppose that together is what compelled me to take initiative & involve myself in the industry.
How was your experience as a model at the bridal fashion week?
It was absolutely amazing I felt incredibly beautiful which would’ve made my night all on its own, but another huge part of that evening was the emotion you can imagine was felt by everyone involved in making the event happen.
You are just 17 years old and it was quite astonishing seeing you on the ramp walking in an Indian outfit holding a veil. How challenging it was for you to walk on the ramp holding the veil?
Holding the veil walking down that runway was a real challenge yes. there are so many things you’re required to keep in mind, you’re in heels and the runway is slippery so you need to watch your step while making sure not to trip over any clothing which can be difficult on its own. then on top of that, needing to make sure the veil doesn’t ruin your hair or peel off your eyelashes and of course flashing a smile amongst all this. it was definitely a task but i’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Would you want to be an actor as well?
I’ve thought about being an actress actually, I would definitely consider it as an option. I’d say it’s definitely on my to-do list to land some kind of acting or videography role in the future.
What do you do to keep yourself fit?
my main focus in order to stay fit has been healthy eating. cutting out any unnecessary sugar has been priority but just generally replacing processed with real has been my goal for me this past year.
What is being beautiful to you?
Being beautiful to me is just being the most real version of yourself. I’ve always found that identity in its purest form is truly one of the most remarkable things anyone could possibly hope to attain in life.
Where do you want to see yourself in the next few years?
In the next few years, I hope to get signed by a brand or two in order to do more photography modeling.
