Binaifer Kohli: Women Have To Be Stronger To Feel Empowered

We just celebrated Women’s Day on Thursday. In lieu of this we got in touch with producer Binaifer Kohli.

Binaifer says that India is slowly advancing where women empowerment is concerned. The producer adds that women are shining in every field and are being respected in their personal lives as well.

“I think women empowerment is quite evident in our country as we’ve had a women Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, so many women ministers like Smriti Irani, the Phogat girls who won the wrestling championship and many more who have made India proud.”

She continues,

“My husband appreciates everything I do and all males in my family are very encouraging towards their wives and mothers. If you’re talking about interiors of India, then it’s beginning to happen there as well as laws have also become strict, things have become strict and things are moving in the right direction. I feel that women also have to be stronger to make this happen.”
