“My guests feel comfortable talking to me because they know me well” – Vahbiz Dorabjee

Actor Vahbiz Dorabjee’s chat show, Showbiz with Vahbiz has become a huge hit and the who’s who of tinsel town have opened up their hearts to Vahbiz. The actor says that her equation with other stars helps them to share some of the most personal details of their lives. She says,

“The biggest USP is they know me well. At some level, they feel comfortable talking to me and because I am sitting there and asking the questions it has become the USP.”

Vahbiz too, is careful to not cross the line. Speaking about that, she says,

“On my behalf, I also don’t cross my limits and I never make them uncomfortable. My show is very clean content and I am very careful that I don’t touch any sensitive topics but they are like absolutely comfortable talking about it. So, in fact, it’s a very big advantage.”

Vahbiz, show has been part of fiction daily soaps as well, has a entire team in place to research about her guests and does not take things lightly. She says,

“We have a proper research team and it has shocked many celebrities that from where did we get so many intimate details about them. And of course, there are many things I ask them on myself on the spot because I know them very well.”

After hosting multiple episodes of her show, Vahbiz doesn’t get any jittery nerves anymore. She says,

“No, not at all. I think I was never nervous from day one but of course, there was a pressure because it was a new show plus you have a guest like Divyanka (Tripathi-Dahiya) and Vivek (Dahiya) coming but they are such true friends and they are such awesome people like in fact, I felt comfortable and they supported me full-fledged. Now day by day I am getting chilled out.”
