Actor Chandan K Anand who plays the colorful role of the evil Kroor Singh in Nikhil Sinha‘s popular saga Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta recently gave a heartfelt thanks to the man behind the show, Nikhil.
Chandan says:
“For an actor to create a character becomes easier as Nikhil gives a detailed explanation of how his character will look. Minute detailing is done on how the mustache, beard, complexion, hair, clothing and even color of eyes will be, and then he tells you the mannerism and detailed characterization of each and every character. It becomes easy for any actor to create a beautiful character which nobody can match. I would say our Kroor Singh is different and it’s amazing.”
Chandan also adds:
“People praise me for how I have done it. I would say it’s Nikhil Sir’s vision and creation. I am just trying to match up to his vision.”
Chandan also shares what kind of a relationship he has with his producer. He says:
“I would say he is someone who is just a call away for any actor. He listens to what an actor requires to give his best and provides all the comforts and environment for an actor to perform and delivers his best. He is a director first, and then a producer. I know him for almost a decade and he has always taken me in every new show of his. I love to work under his vision as he is a passionate storyteller. He loves his work, and similarly, I love to work with producers who are there to bring change in the medium of storytelling. We create through our imagination or brief an actor gets through Nikhil Sir. Whatever I have created so far I consider as my achievements, whether it’s Zargham in Haatim, Jwala or Kroor Singh in Chandrakanta. It has added to my work profile as an actor and I am proud of it and thankful to Nikhil Sinha.”
