TV Folks Talk Emotionally About Their Mother

Ssharad Malhotra:

I am being brought up in Calcutta. My mother has given me excellent upbringing. She never said no for anything but yet kept me and my sister discipline. I stay in Bombay still not a single day goes without talking to her. Whatever I wanted I could always ask her and she used to understand that before my asking what I want. She was a big motivator in letting me participate in Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj. Daily I used to remember my mom and she kept coming to Bombay every three months. She is always concerned about if I have eaten food or not. She is always happy in my happiness and vice-versa. I can talk with her on any emotional topic of life. She is my strength and support system. Whenever I have been low she encourages me to look at the positive sides.

I can’t think of life without my mom Vidya Jain. She knows my heart without my speaking. Even the Marwari setup was not easy to consider a career in acting. My mother encouraged and convinced my father Shailesh Jain to allow me in acting. My mother knows everything including the good and the bad things. She can read my face very easily. She catches my lies. Usually boys spent more time with mom because father’s go to office. More emotional attachment from school college at all stages of life. She feeds me food even now. I can’t think of life without her. Her blessings, encouragement and her motivation. She never stops from doing anything including the long gym hours and always encourages thinking positive. Even when the situation and circumstances were not right.

:

When I was a teenage girl, whenever I wanted to meet some friends or have a girl’s slumber party, I needed my mom to convince my dad for me. She has also saved me from being scolded at by dad when I was younger. My mother is the most special person in my life, that’s how close we are. I am comfortable? I am way more than comfortable with my mother, she is my best friend. And we have a superb compatibility, not that my dad and I don’t have. I give credits for it to my parents completely, not just a single contribution.

Rashami Desai:

Mom’s name is Rasila Desai. She is a teacher. I am proud of her and her upbringing. I was a shy child initially but in school I became active in cultural activities. My mother is a teacher so I was always a disciplined child. I learnt the value of discipline and it has always helped in my life. All children should follow discipline. My mother has taught me that hard work is the only investment that never fails.  My mother is my lifeline. I can’t think of life without her. Her happiness is of utmost importance to me. She is a positive person and one of the greatest influences on me. She has always stood by me through thick and thin.
