As an actor, Shivam Khajuria has gradually developed, and his portrayal of Prem in Star Plus’ Anupamaa has been a significant milestone. He credits his daily co-workers on the Anupamaa set for teaching him patience and observational skills in addition to acting.
One such person is senior actor Arvind Vaidya, who plays the much-respected Babuji in the show. The veteran actor was recently honoured with the Padma Shri, and the news brought a lot of happiness to Shivam, who shares a warm bond with him.
Reacting to the honour, Shivam shared,
“It’s a wonderful achievement. I’m glad that I got to know him and work with him. There’s so much to learn from him. He’s someone I really look up to.”
For Shivam, Arvind Vaidya has always been more than just a co-star. He sees him as someone whose presence on set automatically brings a sense of calm and discipline.
Talking about their relationship, Shivam added,
“Love him always and I hope this bond grows stronger. I’m so happy that the government of India recognised his contribution to the world of performing arts.”
