Bigg Boss 19 has entered its seventh week and the buzz around Gaurav Khanna is still alive despite one-sided narratives beings passed on weekends. Gaurav has always been known to be an opinionated man and while he was initially reserved in some moments, there are many moments in which he was in full form. However, these moments were watched by viewers on the live feed and never made the episode.
Various video clips are circulating of Gaurav taking strong stands about matters in the house, and even many in which he is giving befitting replies to those arguing with him. These genuine videos are clips from the live feed only seen on the OTT platform, and never make its way to the main episode which majority of viewers watch and base their decisions on.

And there are many more such posts across X, Instagram and YouTube with viewers noticing this pattern of his contributions being cut. It is understood that only a limited amount of content can make the episode, but whatever is making the episode is far less in quality as compared to Gaurav’s contributions being seen on the live feed.
Viewers are being forced to watch cringe, and unentertaining “romances” and bullying from the bully gang of the show. This aiding the one-sided narratives we see on Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. Gaurav is always asked to contribute more and to do more. And there is footage of him clearly taking stands and offering solutions to problems. He is even seen taking stands for his friends. These are not making the episodes thereby diminishing his impact in the house.
While the success on OTT may be met with excitement and youth enthusiasm, it is important to note that Bigg Boss is traditionally a television show, and the neutral, television audience make informed decisions. This audience has been vocal about not enjoying the current episodes, and the drop in ratings reflect this too.
With the inclusion of a strong player like Gaurav Khanna in episodes, the quality of episodes and entertainment will certainly increase.
