Television actress Ishita Dixit, who currently plays the role of Pari in Star Plus’ popular show Anupamaa, recalls her vibrant Navratri celebrations from her childhood in Indore.
“As a child in Indore, I used to celebrate Navratri with my family and friends, visiting different pandals and performing Durga pooja every day for all nine days. Since moving to Mumbai for my acting career, my hectic schedule hasn’t allowed me to celebrate in the same way over the past two years. But I always try to make time to enjoy garba and dandiya with friends in the city because I love dressing up and most importantly dancing,” shares Ishita.
Ishita’s nostalgic memories reflect her love for the festival, and despite her busy schedule in Mumbai, she continues to keep the spirit of Navratri alive through dance, celebration, and festive gatherings with friends. On the work front, she is currently delighting audiences with her portrayal of Pari in Anupamaa, and fans are eagerly following her upcoming special Navratri track, which promises colorful festivities and heartfelt moments on screen.
