Shiv Manoharrao Uttamrao Jhinguji Ganuji Thakare, also known as Shiv Thakare, is one of the most beloved personalities on our screens. He celebrates his birthday today, and we are sure to join in the celebration!
Shiv began his television journey with Roadies 15, where he excelled and won many hearts. A turning point came when he won the second season of Bigg Boss Marathi and became an instantly recognisable face across Maharashtra. His journey to global recognition began on Bigg Boss 16, where he became the first runner-up; the season remains one of the most iconic to date. Shiv and his friends on the show, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Abdu Rozik, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, MC Stan, and Sajid Khan became known as the mandali and set an example for friendship and family in a house that often draws attention for its arguments.
Shiv also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and performed well in these shows too. He has also starred in various music videos, all of which created buzz upon their release.
Shiv Thakare is considered one of the best Bigg Boss contestants in its history, but apart from his work, there is so much more too. His humbleness and the way he honours his fans are very rare to see. He is a symbol of achieving your dreams, no matter where you come from and whatever your background is.
