As Bigg Boss 19 continues to create buzz on our television and phone screens in its early weeks, it’s great to see the contestants earning their fanbases and growing it too. One of the housemates winning hearts is Abhishek Bajaj, the actor known for his work across film and television, with his last outing being Jubilee Talkies.
While some of the other housemates may have taken him lightly at first, his ability to give it back and stand up for himself has impressed viewers far and wide. Right from week one, he was constantly picked on regarding food, especially by Nehal, but he was able to put his thoughts forward well. In the Weekend Ka Vaar, he was unnecessarily paused by Kunicka when he was explaining that Ashnoor does not have a superiority complex, but instead high moral values. He was interrupted, and it led to the increased misconception that he is ‘dumb.’
Even when Amaal tried to prevent him from sitting on the couch to eat, Abhishek kept trying to stand his ground in a calm manner, until Amaal started hurling abuses at him. Abhishek made it clear that respect is given when it is received, too.
Abhishek Bajaj is winning hearts for being genuine and still embracing his child-like innocence. At the same time, he is able to stand up for what he believes in, irrespective of what others think of him.
