Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi‘s return is well underway, and viewers from across the globe are glad to experience nostalgia and watch their favourite characters onscreen again. At present, the story is interesting, but viewers want that ‘little more’ to elevate their viewing even further. Here’s what they have been saying!
The current storyline sees Tulsi and Mihir’s daughter, Paridhi‘s, wedding festivities in progress, and Tulsi is certain that the family Pari is marrying into is not a good one. Ajay’s brother-in-law, Viren, is responsible for framing Angad in the car accident we saw in the first week, and is also disrespectful to women. However, Viren receives so much praise and respect from his in-laws. At the same time, Pari seems to be marrying Ajay to get revenge on Ranvijay, her ex-boyfriend. Tulsi’s concerns are clashing with Mihir’s love for Pari, and a lot of drama stems from this, too.
While this is good, viewers are waiting for a fiery Tulsi who takes a stand for what she believes in and for what is right. Tulsi is a character who has dealt with so much already, and they expect her to take strong stands. Viewers love seeing Mihir and Tulsi’s pair, and them finally coming on the same page regarding what’s right for Pari needs to happen, too.
Speaking of Mihir, concerns about the entry of Noyona have also emerged, with viewers saying that Mihir and Tulsi have already been caught up in love triangles before, and this isn’t the time for it to happen all over again. Let’s not forget that most of the television we have been watching for the past few years has had such love triangles, and viewers expect Kyunki 2 to do something different. Hopefully, Mihir doesn’t get trapped in anything and is the strong and inspiring male protagonist we always crave.
Another interesting part of the show is Vrinda and Tulsi’s blooming equation. Amid the wedding drama, this has been progressing slowly, with viewers waiting for their bond, as well as Angad and Vrinda’s pairing, to begin. There is also a blooming story between Ritik and Munni, which could set the stage for another progressive storyline in Kyunki.
The return of Karan is another aspect viewers have been asking for, as his chemistry with Nandini and bond with his family is something everyone enjoys. More comedy from Daksha to cut through the drama is yet another element viewers have wanted more of.
Viewers on social media have also been voicing their dislike for the use of body doubles, which is rather distracting. It’s a bit unsettling to see the family on one end and Tulsi on the other, and the usage of Tulsi’s body double is visible. This breaks the flow of a viewer’s emotions, not forgetting that the scenes with Tulsi in the same frame as others hit much deeper.
