Spread the love

Reha Sukheja, crowned Miss India Universe 2010 1st runner-up, began her journey into the world of glamour with the perfect mix of grace and grit. That one defining moment launched a flourishing modeling career, positioning her as one of India’s most celebrated and recognizable supermodels. Known for her towering presence, fierce runway walk, and global appeal, Reha has ruled fashion weeks and walked for legendary designers like Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Anju Modi, and Gaurav Gupta. Now, she brings that same bold energy to the screen in her current stint on the reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, where her authentic charm and competitive spirit have already made her a fan favorite.

Raksha Bandhan, for her, is a festival steeped in emotion, memory, and moments that stay with her forever. Reha recalls one Rakhi that stood out for its simplicity and sentiment, says

“It was about 8-9 years ago… I was working on that day so I woke him up before leaving and tied his Rakhi but there wasn’t any mithai around at 7 am so I finished my show and picked up a pastry from the dinner buffet and carried it back home on a tissue and fed him something sweet around 11:30 in the night just in time, before the day ended!” A quiet act of love, proving that it’s the thought and effort that count most.

Her brother, once known for delaying gifts like post-dated cheques, has now become a thoughtful and timely gifter—something Reha cherishes.

“The last couple of Rakhis have been special since he’s really come into his own as a content creator earlier he’d post date my gifts like one would do a cheque, to the next year! Now I get all my gifts on time and they’re getting bigger and better every year ”

When asked which childhood Rakhi she’d want to relive, Reha doesn’t hesitate to revisit her earliest memory:

“It’ll probably be my earliest memory of Rakhi where My mom was showing me how Rakshabandhan is done from how to arrange the aarti thali, to tying the Rakhi, to putting the tilak, to feeding Ro 20 kaju katlis because his stomach is a bottomless pit. It was extremely special to us both to have something tangible celebrate our love for each other.”

A blend of ritual, humor, and love that continues to define their bond.

And if she had to put it all into just one line, Reha Said,

“He’s my sole-mate”

Reha Sukheja may command the runway and light up screens, but it’s moments like these that remind us how even the most glamorous lives are grounded in the most meaningful relationships.
