Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav recently celebrated two years on our screens and remains one of the leading shows on Indian television globally. The show, starring Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput, is currently seeing Shiv and Shakti in their new avatars of Martand and Mhalsa.
In order to end the terror and slow destruction being caused by Mala and Mani, both Shiv and Shakti had to take new forms on Earth. Shakti is also currently on a journey to rediscover her strength and purpose, and will do so as Mhalsa. Mhalsa, in her human form, is unaware of Mala and Mani’s evil doings and considers them her uncles due to being in the same clan.
Now that Mhalsa and Shiv’s avatar, Martand, have crossed paths, a new chapter in Shiv and Shakti’s love story begins, while the end of Mala and Mani’s chapter nears. Mhalsa and Martand have had quite the humorous start, where Mhalsa finds Martand annoying and cannot understand why everyone loves him so much. Their banter is adorable and expands upon the endearing love story of Shiv and Shakti.
Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput never fail to impress in yet another chapter of the universe’s first love story. The onscreen pairing may be understated, but it does not go unnoticed by viewers and critics. Even individually, the two continue to shine no matter the avatar they take on.
