Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav is a show which words are not enough to praise, and I’ve said this many times before. Recent promos suggest the show starring Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput is now heading into its Antim Adhyay or ‘final chapter.’
Currently on the show, Goddess Ganga has realised that only Shakti can complete Shiv and has decided to step back. Shiv has given Ganga a place in his hair, which upset Parvati. Adding further fuel to the fire was Mansa, and for her interference in Shiv and Parvati’s matters, Parvati now has her in her captivity. This angered Shiv, as Mansa is his ‘ansh’ and like a daughter. This led to a war of words between Shiv and Parvati, and the precap suggests an intense battle between their fierce forms.
The promo indicates that Shiv will be taking on his Rudra avatar, and in the fiercest way so far. It further suggests that viewers have watched Shiv and Shakti’s Tap (penance), Tyaag (sacrifice), and Tandav (divine dance), but now there will be a Tandav like no other. Ram Yashvardhan’s performance in the promo, just like in the show, is breath-taking. Parvati, on the other hand, will be seen in her Mahakali avatar.
While there is no confirmation about the show’s closure yet, the channel’s emphasis on Antim Adhyay has made fans worried and confused, especially since the show is still one of the top shows on television and has been a flagship show for the channel ever since its launch.
