Shiv Shakti—Tap Tyaag Tandav remains the leader among historical shows on television and certainly has the markings of Siddharth Kumar Tewary‘s genius. The show recently completed showcasing Parvati’s journey to the twelve Jyotirlingas. The new chapter will highlight the equation between Mansa Devi and Shiv-Parvati.
Actress Riya Deepsi entered the show as Mansa, marking her reunion with Swastik Productions after shows like Porus and her debut with Mahabharat. Mansa exerts her power over people to get them to worship her. After Mansa comes face-to-face with Shiv, Parvati is baffled by Mansa saying that Shiv is her father. Shiv refuses to explain why Mansa claims this. A heartbroken Parvati leaves Kailash with Ganesh.
Mansa’s mother, Kadru, eventually reached Parvati in time. She explained that Mansa was a boon given to her by Shiv after she wanted a daughter and her husband, Rishi Kashyap refused. Mansa’s role is for the world’s welfare as she can neutralise the venom of other snakes. She also explained that Shiv had sworn on Parvati not to tell anyone about Mansa’s origin.
This new chapter on the show brings a lesser-known story from our history and scriptures and is accompanied by the power-packed performances of the entire cast. Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput‘s chemistry grows from strength to strength and continues to resonate and inspire viewers with the story of Shiv and Shakti.
