Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav continues to captivate the audience as the show explores our history and roots while offering spiritual direction. The show featuring Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput recently introduced Treta Yuga.
Marking the start of Treta Yuga, was the birth of Swarth (selfishness), which humans were easily succumbing to. To control the situation and save Earth dwellers from Swarth, Shiv and Parvati decide to come to Earth. Given the gravity of the situation, Shiv and Parvati had to separate and Shiv manifested himself in different parts which formed the twelve Jyotirlingas. These divine sites of Shiv are intended by him to guide devotees and protect them from Swarth and other negative qualities.
While this marks another heart breaking sacrifice of separation, the show demonstrates how the twelve Jyotirlingas came about. The Jyotirlingas hold immense significance for devotees from across the globe, and with Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav, viewers can gain more insight about these sites deeply rooted in history and culture.
