Swastik Productions’ Shrimad Ramayan has found a place in hearts worldwide. The show recently shifted to Sony SAB and features Sujay Reu as Ram, Prachi Bansal as Sita, Basant Bhatt as Lakshman, and Nirbhay Wadhwa as Hanuman.
Ram defeated Ravan after a long battle between his and Ravana’s armies. His reunion with Sita followed, but the people of Lanka’s doubts threw a curveball in what was meant to be a beautiful moment. Despite this, Ram and Sita’s understanding of each other and their duties as future King and Queen of Ayodhya helped them overcome this.
The current episodes showcase their journey back home while Hanuman has gone to assure Bharat that his brother is on his way. In Ayodhya, the citizens eagerly await Ram’s return, and viewers get a glimpse of the palace after a while as Kaushalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi prepare to welcome their Ram, Sita and Lakshman.
Shrimad Ramayan never fails to impress. With the sterling performances of the cast and visually appealing presentation, the show has cemented itself as one of the grandest and finest shows of Indian television.
Shrimad Ramayan airs Monday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in India, 8 p.m. in the UK, and streams on Sony LIV globally.
