We Celebrate Bhagya Lakshmi’s milestone of 1000 episodes!
Spread the love
Balaji Telefilms and Zee TV launched Bhagya Lakshmi almost three years ago, and fast forward to 12 July 2024, we celebrate 1000 episodes of this show. Bhagya Lakshmi now become one of the longest-running shows in Indian television history and is expected to climb up the list.
The show began with telling the story of how Lakshmi (Aishwarya Khare) and Rishi (Rohit Suchanti) cross paths and get married as Lakshmi’s kundali (horoscope) is said to protect Rishi from the ill effects of a dosh (fault) in his kundali. While this sounded unusual, it made for an interesting watch with characters now part of our hearts.
During the journey, Lakshmi and Rishi’s love story faced trouble due to Malishka (Maera Mishra) and opposition from Rishi’s mother, Neelam (Smita Bansal). This conflict has been running up to now, but the chemistry of Rohit and Aishwarya became a highlight of the show. Other characters who made the show a fan favourite are Virendra (Uday Tikekar), Harleen (Neena Cheema), Ayush (Aman Gandhi) and Shalu (Munira Kudrati) to name a few.
Despite the highs and lows, what makes Bhagya Lakshmi stand out and keep viewers watching are how well the characters are created and how their journeys have progressed. Rishi slowly became brave enough to fight for his love (Lakshmi), and Lakshmi slowly began to fight for her self-respect.
In the current phase of the show, see Rishi and Lakshmi as parents to Parvati (Trisha Sarda) and Rohan (Shreyansh Kaurav). Rohan’s truth about them being his biological parents is yet to be out, and viewers pin their hopes on Parvati to be the one who brings Lakshmi and Rishi together.
As Bhagya Lakshmi celebrates the milestone of 1000 episodes, we wish them hearty congratulations and wish them much more success to come!
Bhagya Lakshmi airs Monday to Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Zee TV in India and South Africa, 7:30 p.m. in the UK. The show also streams on Zee5 Global worldwide.
