Mera Balam Thanedaar premiered on Colors in January this year and is steadily making a solid place in the hearts and screens of viewers. The show stars Shagun Pandey as Veer and Shruti Choudhary as Bulbul.
The show brings forward harsh societal practices, mainly the practice of underage marriage. Along with this, we see a police officer, Veer, who is a man and officer of integrity and is determined to end such practices. And very importantly, he hates lies! He crosses paths with Bulbul, a free-spirited young girl who doesn’t mind lying if it brings about good.
While the concept unfolds, Veer and Bulbul form a bond of companionship after their unexpected marriage. Veer supports Bulbul and empowers her to reach her dreams. Bulbul, too, supports Veer in his goals and tries her best to make a place for herself in his home. Shagun Pandey and Shruti Choudhary are praised for their performances and are dubbed the cutest couple!
The couple has become known as #VeeBul, and fans often share their love for the pair.
