Krishna Mohini stands out on television with its brave and fresh story of identity, love, and breaking societal norms. The show starring Fahmaan Khan, Debattama Saha and Ketaki Kulkarni is now undergoing one of its major turning points.
Mohan (Ketaki Kulkarni) is studying fashion design at college and meets his teacher, Anuradha (Navya Singh), who is transgender. Mohan gets inspired by her and shares his own story of wanting to change into a woman’s body. Krishna (Debattama Saha) gets angered by Mohan’s insistence to change his gender. Meanwhile Aryaman (Fahmaan Khan) has some hidden hatred towards the community. The family gathers for Mohan and Piya’s fashion show, and Mohan falls unconscious and is rushed to hospital. Upon realising the toll the situation is taking on Mohan and how she cannot lose him, Krishna decides to walk the ramp in Mohan’s design. She then takes a bold stand by sending out a message of support for Mohan.
Krishna assures Mohan that they will face the world together and will help him fulfil his dreams. She also promised to be his shield, protecting him from all the harshness he will face after his truth is out. Krishna added that he is not alone in his situation, and she will support him every step of the way.
In this deep and impactful message, Debattama Saha truly shone with the conviction with which she delivered her speech. It will be exciting to see how the story unfolds as Krishna and Mohan take on the world. We also wait to see how Aryaman will accept Mohan and possibly face some issues from the past in the process.
