Sai Ketan Rao never fails to impress viewers with his versatility and screen presence. It was a pleasant surprise when he made his return to our screens with Imlie, where he and Adrija Roy took the story forward as the third generation of the now iconic franchise.
The show, which consistently enjoys a loyal audience and commendable ratings, will be going off-air in a few weeks. The shoot came to an end yesterday, the 6th of May, and as expected, it would have been a day filled with mixed emotions for the entire team. Sai, who had the opportunity to play two different roles on the show, penned his feelings in a touching post on Instagram.
Sai Ketan Rao’s farewell message bears testament to the actor’s ability to sink deep into his characters and execute them to his best. He also took the opportunity to thank everyone who was part of the beautiful journey.
As the journey of Imlie comes to an end, we cannot wait to see how Sai Ketan Rao impresses us again soon. Thank You, Sai, for giving us two more memorable characters of Agasthya (whom we love to call August) and Surya which we will treasure forever!
