Swastik Productions’ and Sony TV’s ‘Shrimad Ramayan’ has become a daily event in many Indian homes across the globe. This week the popular show showcased the iconic first meet of Hanuman and Ram!
After being guided by Gandharva Danu and Mother Shabari, Ram and Lakshman made their way to find King Sugriva. Startled by the arrival of two humans in their territory, Sugriva and the others were left in wonder about who the two men could be and doubted if they were sent by Vali. Hanuman however displayed his optimism upon hearing about them.
When Hanuman saw Ram in the forest he was overcome with emotion as he identified who the man approaching was. However as his duty is to protect Sugriva, he had to ensure the others saw Ram and Lakshman’s pure intentions. As known by all, Hanuman disguised as a sage and asked some questions to Ram and Lakshman. Eventually their identities were revealed and moment everyone has been waiting for happened.
Ram and Hanuman’s iconic hug and a moment which set an example between God and his Devotee for eternity! This became another moment which left the audience emotional and waiting for the epic journey of Ram and the Sena towards Lanka and rescuing Sita!
Shrimad Ramayan airs Monday to Friday on Sony TV at 9 pm worldwide.
