Television’s longest-running drama, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, continues to enjoy a good run with its compelling storyline and characters. The show is currently in its fourth generation, showcasing the story of Abhira, the daughter of Akshara from the third generation.
Abhira ends up marrying Armaan Poddar due to her mother’s promise and faces numerous challenges in the Poddar household. Adding to the challenges is her cousin-sister Ruhi, who shared a relationship with Armaan before marriage. Ruhi is also the wife of Armaan’s brother Rohit.
While the show has consistent high-voltage drama and intriguing twists and turns, the performance of Samridhii Shukla, who essays the role of Abhira, is one of the stand-out factors of the show. Whether it’s Abhira’s free-spirit nature or her will to achieve something beyond the Poddar’s norms, Samridhii has been excelling as Abhira, and this has not gone unnoticed by the viewers of the show.
Her scenes with Armaan (Shehzada Dhami), Dadisa (Anita Raj) and even the show’s villain Yuvraj (Gaurav Sharma) truly come out magical as the fine actress can crack the right chemistry with her co-stars and immerse herself deeply in the character. As the story progresses and we see Abhira’s journey unfold, we cannot wait to see Samridhii Shukla surprise us further with her grace and immense talent.
